As a non-profit cooperative, Centel Credit Union offers membership "shares" to you in the form of savings. Based upon the Credit Union principle of equality, each member has one vote - regardless of the balance (or number of shares) in his or her savings account.

| Membership Eligibility |
| You can join Centel Credit Union if you live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in Shiawassee County.
Also eligible are employees of Verizon - Central Region, retirees located in the county or in a county contiguous to Shiawassee County and employees, members of employer groups or other organized groups, which are located within 25 miles of the credit union.
